Cranberry Creek Lodge

GUEST INFORMATION

Getting to and from the lodge

Guests will fly to Anchorage and then on to Kodiak city using Alaska Airlines.   Some guests like to fly into Kodiak the day before their scheduled arrival at the lodge and stay at one of the local hotels for the night.  This provides a cushion for any weather delays and will allow you to see the sights of the town of Kodiak, pick up your fishing/hunting license (if you have not purchased it online) and purchase any alcoholic refreshments that you may require.  On the day of your arrival to the lodge, one of our team members will pick you up from the airport or hotel if you choose to arrive the day before.    When returning home via Alaska Airlines we recommend either scheduling for the last flight of the day or staying overnight in Kodiak and flying out the next morning.  This will minimize any scheduling hassle should there be a weather delay.

Additional processed fish will be $2 per pound.  At the end of your stay, we will pack and label your catch into lined fish boxes. You can then transport them as checked baggage on your flight. Most of the hotels have free freezer space as well. If you overnight in Anchorage, there is a freezer in the Baggage Claim Area of the airport where you can store your fish for a reasonable price until you fly home.

Deer and Duck Processing

Unguided hunters are responsible for processing, packaging, and shipping their own meat. All birds will be tagged or labeled, packaged, and frozen for you to meet federal migratory bird shipping regulations
