Cranberry Creek Lodge

GUEST INFORMATION

Getting to and from the lodge

Guests will fly to Anchorage and then on to Kodiak city using Alaska Airlines. From Kodiak, there are several top-quality Air taxis with an impeccable reputation that provide a quick 35 min flight to Cranberry Creek Lodge.  We suggest that you fly into Kodiak the day before your scheduled arrival at the lodge.  This will provide a cushion for any weather delays and will allow you to see the sights of the town of Kodiak, pick up your fishing/hunting license (if you have not purchased it online), and any refreshments that you may require.  When returning home via Alaska Airlines we recommend either scheduling for the last flight of the day or staying overnight in Kodiak and flying out the next morning.  This will minimize any scheduling hassle should there be a weather delay.

Most of the hotels have free freezer space as well. If you overnight in Anchorage, there is a freezer in the Baggage Claim Area of the airport where you can store your fish for a reasonable price until you fly home.

Deer and Duck Processing

Unguided hunters are responsible for processing, packaging, and shipping their own meat. All birds will be tagged or labeled, packaged, and frozen for you to meet federal migratory bird shipping regulations
